I have always loved animals. I was raised with numerous animals which included cats, dogs, rabbits, cows, parakeets, hamsters, fish, a hermit crab, and a horse. Growing up in the country there were always animals around. As a child, I could ‘feel’ what these animals were feeling. Oftentimes, it seemed, I could almost read their minds. ​
